Doris Oldenburg is the current Treasurer of Zeitgeist NW. She has volunteered for the organization since 2012 and is a founding member. She came to Portland via Toronto. Doris worked for several insurance carriers in the capacity of Director of Claims. Claim disputes, audits, appeals, and contracts were the capstone of her work. Work related continuing education took place at PSU, her alma mater. But there was also the opportunity to connect with people through employer sponsored outreach programs. This turned out to be much more interesting and fun and it has been her main focus over recent years. Doris enjoys contributing to Zeitgeist NW and is pleased to see Zeitgeist NW give back to the community at large.
